The National Coach Mentorship Program has developed a series of 10 Specialty Clinic modules to be delivered to Minor Hockey Association coaches across British Columbia. Major Midget League Player of the Month - October
BC Hockey announced today that Vancouver North West Giants forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been named as the Major Midget League Player of the Month for October. As a first year player, Nugent-Hopkins lead the league in points with 12 goals and seven (7) assists for a total of 19 points in the month of October.

Helmet Requirement for Coaches Set for December 1
BC Hockey announced today that steps will be taken to increase the level of safety for coaches taking part in on-ice activities. At meetings held this past weekend in Richmond, the BC Hockey Executive Committee passed a motion which will effectively require all coaches to wear a helmet during team practices.
